Subject Tutoring

I can tutor a range of high school and middle school subjects, from English to Science to History to Math. At the AP level, I’m especially prepared to tutor Precalculus, Calculus AB/BC, and Physics 1/2/C. I can also tutor comparable introductory college courses.

In philosophy, I can tutor introductory college logic—a subject I’ve also taught before—and can lead a student through a Guided Reading of complex philosophical works, for a course or for personal interest.

By focusing on what makes a complicated subject intuitive and exciting—a skill I’ve honed both through teaching and writing—I help students overcome problems of both understanding and motivation at once.
