How to Use This Blog

At present, my one project with this blog is to create a walkthrough of all the types of questions on the SAT. My aim is, for each skill on the test (for example “Boundaries” on the Reading/Writing), to further break it down by subtype to make the knowledge and skills involved as organized as possible. This will be most useful for a certain kind of student, one who is already somewhat familiar with the SAT and is comfortable with the core skills of high school-level math and reading but wants to really get clear on what is and isn’t expected knowledge on the SAT. Some areas, like the grammar, also have fairly direct application to the ACT, though all included questions are SAT questions.

As I’m continuing to post walkthroughs of different SAT question types, I’m also aiming to make the existing ones as clear as possible, so if you find something to be unclear, please feel free to contact me and I’ll aim to expand that piece of the article in short order.
